A sensorised system for quantitative assessment of physiotherapy exercises
Abstract
Physiotherapy rehabilitation progress is often determined by physiotherapist’s knowledge, experience and communication with patient. During rehabilitation exercises there are parameters physiotherapist can’t sense or correctly evaluate. These parameters can be useful to consider during exercise and for later comparison when evaluating overall rehabilitation progress. The purpose of this work was to develop a prototype system for physiotherapy rehabilitation exercises using closed kinetic chain equipment evaluation. During testing system was able to register valuable parameters.
