Hyaluronic acid for tissue regeneration

Abstract


In this work polymer-based scaffolds for tissue engineering applications were prepared. The results obtained in this work revealed that the morphology of the scaffolds is suitable for soft and/or hard tissue regeneration. The highly porous scaffolds comprised non-symmetrical interconnected pores. The prepared scaffolds were hydrophilic and stable up to one month.
